The starting players of Shohoku Team of the anime entitled SLAMDUNK were Takenori Akagi, Kaede Rukawa, Hisashi Mitsui, Ryota Miagi and Hanamitchi Sakuragi. Slamdunk was a fictional characters made in Japan in which the Shohoku High aims to be the number one team in Japan. SLAMDUNK was an anime in which the story was all about basketball and aims to be the number 1 team in Japan. Hanamitchi Sakuragi who calls that playing basketball was just for kids, start liking the sport and aims to join the basketball team of the Shohoku High so that he can call the attention of Haruko the sister of the Team Captain Akagi of the boys basketball team. He start to learn playing basketball, he was given special trainings for him to gain his talents in playing basketball. Hanamitchi Sakuragi was a high school student who always gets in trouble. But this has change because of playing basketball and Hanamitchi aims to be one of the greatest player in Japan.
